Meet Rust Bobbette - Organic Indian Cotton 🌿

Why we love this: a cotton that could pass as hand embroidered with a beautiful two-tone cross-stitch detail.

A rusty brown cotton base with orange and cobalt blue cross-stitch threads woven into the cloth – giving real texture and a quality you can feel as much as see. It holds its own on a simple pattern and doesn't need fussy design lines to look finished. Organic cotton that is light enough for warm weather makes and also garments that can be layered in cooler months.

A note from the studio: for the first couple of washes, throw a handful of table salt into the machine with the fabric – it helps fix the dye. 

Beautiful for: The Trapeze or Honey for an easy summer dress. The Cirrus for a relaxed top. Cushion covers or quilts if you'd rather bring it home than wear it.

Care Instructions:

Wash cool (30-40 ℃) with a non bio detergent.
Do not tumble.
For the first couple of washes, throw a handful of table salt into the machine with the fabric – it helps fix the dye to prevent running.

• You can order in 0.25m increments (i.e. 4 quantities = 1m x width of fabric)
• Orders of 0.5m (2 quantities) or more will be cut as one continuous length
• Orders of 0.25m (1 quantity) will be cut across the full width of fabric (25cm x fabric width) 
• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project
